Distributing flavour of the season at Rajawadi Hospital was more meaningful than eating one! Team anjezë with the support of our dear volunteers, spread joy and excitement for the children and their families, by distributing mangoes. Event executed successfully by Team anjezë. anjezë started a new cause of distributing maternity kits to the women delivering babies at the Govt Hospital. This helped the new mothers get better quality care for themselves and their newborns! Service can be so fulfilling and gratifying!

Team anjezë celebrated Christmas at the paediatric ward of the Tata Memorial Hospital. The children forgot all about their aches and pains and celebrated Christmas with music, dance and stories.
It was a wonderful day of sharing amongst children, staff of the hospital, donors, volunteers and the team!
Non formal classes on good habits | September 2017 | VENUE: Chembur Remand Home

anjezë volunteers have started conducting non formal classes to discipline the children at the remand home. This would be an ongoing activity for the next six months. The children were happy to learn in a play manner. The class was conducted successfully. Learning can be fun!

The children at the remand home had an afternoon of laughter and fun with Monica, a clown from Spain. The children forgot about their worries and laughed to their hearts content. It was amazing to see the joy and happiness on the faces of these little children. Thank you once again Monica! Team anjezë conducted the event successfully. What is more fulfilling than spreading happiness!

Team anjezë regularly organises new clothes for the children staying at the remand home. Particularly as the children have to wash and clean their own clothes which leads to more wear and tear. This is done with the help of all the valued donors. When children wear fresh clothes they look happy and cared for. Team anjezë feels blessed in giving the children a good quality life by proving them with the basic necessities.

A child from Bangladesh being treated at Tata Memorial Hospital expressed his desire to talk to Atif Aslam, his hero. Team anjezë was fortunate to be able to reach out to Atif Aslam. At the level that he is, this singer not only spoke to the patient over the phone but also gifted him a guitar. This act of kindness by Atif Aslam, which left an ever lasting memory, a dream come true for this youngster who is fighting a battle of Cancer. Team anjezë remains obliged to Atif Aslam for being so humble and empathetic.
Celebrating the joy of giving during Diwali | November 2015 | VENUE: Paediatric ward at Tata Memorial Hospital

anjezë joined hands with Srimad Rajchandra Love and Care to provide 3000 kgs of food grains to 300 families taking treatment at the Tata Memorial Hospital. Also all the children admitted in the paediatric ward were given gifts and toys on the occasion of Diwali. Thank you SRLC for your support time and again.

While the doctors train parents of the children, suffering with Cancer, by addressing their basic needs of how best to protect the child with hygiene, nutrition, etc. Team anjezë entertains these little angels by arranging some of their most wanted magic show and a fun filled evening so these parents from the poorest backgrounds with minimum understanding and exposure can focus on the advise given by the doctor and act accordingly, resulting in better care of the patients.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Children suffering from Cancer and other such major illnesses, being treated at Government Hospitals such as Tata Memorial Hospital and Sion Hospital, often have to wait in queue for long hours. This is due to sheer density of patients being treated at these hospitals. What if somebody conducted value based events and kept these children busy from anxiety and fear. We thought that was a good idea and dedicated volunteers of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care did it for us. These events made children so happy that we could not wait to give a commitment to conduct these events atleast once a month at the hospitals (we intend to increase this frequency). Over 60 such events have been facilitated by Team anjezë and counting…….thank you SRLC!
